MOVING ON A SPOT
I shifted uneasily on my bed,
I lolled and lolled,
And came back to the place,
Whence I lolled.
I then walked northwards,
I walked round and round,
And came back to the place,
Whence I started.
I decided to run,
I ran as fast as I could,
I could hear my heart beating fast,
Yet I found myself where I started.
I became so afraid of this,
That I had to jerk and jerk,
Until I jerked myself,
Out of the fearsome nightmare.
